1. place 4pcs Ħ°AAĦħ batteries in the battery co***rtment located on the bottom of the lid. Make sure the polarity is correct (+/-), although a wrong installment would not cause any damage on circuit.
2. Switch the dustbin on using the button at the base of the lid beside the battery co***rtment.
3. the red control light lights up for 3 seconds, afterwards it flashes every 2 seconds. Which indicates normal operation.
4. when you wish to put waste into the bin, hold the waste or your hand over the sensor windows at a distance of not more than 15cm above the waste bin cover, the lid opens automatically within 0.5 seconds, when the waste or your hand moves out of range of sensors, the lid closes automatically again after approx 4-6 seconds.
5. operation by hand: press the ĦħOPENĦħ to open the lid and Ħ°CLOSEĦħ to close it, whenever the lid is opened manually it must be closed manually; otherwise, press Ħ°CLOSEĦħ button to restore the normal operation |
